I currently suffer with a visual impairment called keratoconus.
Keratoconus is a debilitating eye condition that causes the cornea to thin and bulge into a cone-like shape, leading to distorted vision. Unfortunately, many individuals with keratoconus struggle to access treatment due to limited support from government institutions and insufficient coverage from medical aid.
I am launching this fundraising campaign to provide much-needed support to get the necessary support and treatment needed. Your donations will go towards covering the costs of specialized treatments, such as corneal cross-linking and gas permeable lenses, which can significantly improve the quality of life for myself with this condition.
I would appreciate your assistance in our mission to help myself battling keratoconus see clearly and live without the burden of vision impairment.
