Thank you for all your generous donations that got me to Bangkok and Budapest this year! Without you, it would not have been possible to have the incredible experience of representing South Africa at these competitions.
I have now been given the chance to train at the ISU Centre for Excellence in Oberstdorf Germany and again, I have to appeal for funds.
About me:
I am an ice dancer from Cape Town, South Africa. I started my ice skating journey when I began taking lessons at the ice skating club Junior Blades just before my 9th birthday because I wanted to play Ice Hockey. The figure skating bug bit and it has been my sport of choice ever since. I have competed as a solo figure skater, as part of the synchronized skating team, and now as the male half of an Ice Dance couple.
Ice skating is not a widely supported sport in our country and all costs are for the skater's own account. It is a heavy burden and for this reason, I am appealing for assistance in funding for training and upcoming international competitions.
