I was in the privileged position to have participated at the World Championships for the U/18 Ladies Ice Hockey tournament in January 2024. After the tournament I was even more determined than ever to work hard to be included in the Senior Ladies Team which will be participating in Turkey at the beginning of April 2024. On Valentines Day, I received the news that I will be part of this amazing group of Ladies. This however also comes at a cost where we need to raise R18 000 in one month to ensure I will be able to participate at this event and represent my country. Ice Hockey in South Africa does not have any financial support from the Government or companies. Parents have to fit the bill. I would really appreciate your support.
