My name is Mia Bianchina. I am a single mom and caregiver, and at the moment, I don't have any work or any source of income.

My mom, Rudy Bianchina, is 83 years old. On Friday, January 5th, at 4 am, I heard a big bang and ran to the room to find my mom lying on the floor. She was in extreme pain, and I immediately noticed that one leg was shorter than the other.

I then phoned the ambulance and transported her to a government facility, kindly assisted by PT Ambulance services and Dalene from Toti Emergency, as my mom doesn't have medical aid and is on a SASSA pension.

The only doctor my mom has seen was in the emergency room, where it was confirmed that her femur was snapped. My mom has been lying there for 5 days. She has not seen another doctor, and she is flat on her back with her leg twisted and deteriorating each day.

I've tried to find out what is going to happen. I've been told that she is on a waiting list, and there are 26 people ahead of her. It may take up to 1 to 3 months to have the surgery. When you break a femur, you have to repair it no later than 48 hours, or it becomes life-threatening.

I have noticed my mom is extremely delusional and just cries. My mom has heart problems, and she is starting to get pressure sores. If pressure care is not taken care of, and with all of this, I'm begging each and everyone to kindly assist us in getting her into a facility to help save my mom's life.
