Hello everyone.
 
It all started when his mom was pregnant with him.
 
Her GP had her on different types of antibiotics since she was very ill throughout her entire pregnancy. However, the doctor never really cared much for her or the baby because he never ensured that she got the necessary cortisone shots at 37 weeks pregnant like most women should in case the baby decided to come earlier. And so it happened that, due to all the antibiotics she was given, it somehow made her amniotic fluid septic, and MARNUS ended up swallowing it.
 
This made him go into respiratory distress, and he was born at 37 weeks gestational age, weighing 2.895 kg, with his lungs also not fully developed and a lot of fluid in his lungs.
 
MARNUS was in the NICU for a whole month, where he was kept under sedation most of the time because he was breathing too heavily and too quickly. They also had to make a hole in his chest to drain the fluids that were in his lungs. MARNUS  almost didn't survive; however, by the grace of God, he was saved, as we know, God has a plan for his life.
 
Marnus is now a healthy 4-year-old boy; however, we he is currently facing some complications, which is why his mommy and daddy is asking everyone for a donation to the FUNDS FOR MARNUS TRUST since they don't have medical aid, and their son has to undergo a lot of tests and has to see a pediatrician regarding his current condition.
 
MARNUS recently underwent three surgeries in one:
  • Grommets
  • Tonsils
  • Adenoids
 
Although the operation was a major success, mom and dad are currently left with hospital bills to pay, anaesthesia bills, as well as the surgeon bills to pay. 
 
Marnus's immune system is also not functioning as it should and he is now on chronic medication regarding this in hopes that this will get right in time. He is scheduled for more blood work in a month's time in order for doctors to see whether or not the medication is working; should this not be the case, Marnus will be re-admitted at Netcare Alberton Hospital where he will undergo more tests and quite possibly a very big life altering surgery should nothing else work..
 
We ask that you keep Marnus and his family in your prayers as it is a very difficult time for the family where friends, angels and miracles are few to non-existent...

Hello everyone,

My journey began when my mom was pregnant with me.

Despite her severe illness throughout the pregnancy, the doctor neglected crucial care, leading to complications. Due to excessive antibiotics, my amniotic fluid became septic, causing respiratory distress upon birth at 37 weeks. I spent a month in the NICU, surviving by God's grace.

Now, at 4 years old, I face health challenges. I recently underwent three surgeries, and while successful, it left my parents with overwhelming medical bills. My immune system is compromised, requiring ongoing medication and tests. If it does not improve, I might face a significant, life-altering surgery.

My family lacks medical aid, and we seek donations for the FUNDS FOR MARNUS TRUST. Your prayers and support mean the world to us during this difficult time.
