Personal message
My name is Marnus Coetzee.
My wife and I decided to support the heart moving Rainbows and Smiles initiative by running the 2019 TwoOceans marathon together. We are blessed with two children and enjoying them daily. This made us aware of the reality that Cancer is affecting children just like ours.
Rainbows and Smiles dedicate their funds and time to children and families who are less fortunate and are affected by Cancer.
While we will be fighting the hills of Constantia Nek together we will embrace our blessings, for these children are daily fighting a much bigger battle. We hope to raise funds to help children in need and by doing this, while we are running the marathon together, we can hopefully contribute to a much bigger need.

The mission of Rainbows and Smiles is to provide emotional, social and financial support to families and caregivers in need when a child or children of that family is diagnosed with a life threatening illness such as cancer. In addition, Rainbows and Smiles encourage childhood cancer awareness to educate in the hope of promoting early detection.
