Caring for Carer Melody Titus Campaign

Melody listened to our plight and comforted me like a mother. Despite not knowing us from Adam, she jumped on a bus from Genadendal to Gauteng to come to our aid. Ever since, she lovingly helps take care of Danie - even though this means she's stuck on the other side the country, far from her family, until such a time as Danie is able to move to the Western Cape.

While being our Good Samaritan, heavy rains brought a wall of Melody's one-bedroom house on a WC farm crashing down. Currently, she can't even visit her loved ones down here because her house is uninhabitable. Melody is 52 years old and has been caring for the elderly since 2011. She is a single mother (with one child still in high school) and a grandma. She has financial dependents. Her brother died in February. In short, she really, REALLY, needs a break! Any donation - no matter how small - is one brick closer to a dry home for this deserving carer.
