Personal message
I have chosen to run this Ultra race with an aid to contribute to the saving of our Cape Peninsula and Table Mountain National Parks.
I strongly believe that Cape Town natural habitat has a strong influence in the ecological system in the world. We are the only province in the world that has millions of various plants or fynboss in the world, so we have the potential to discover the medicines that can cure various diseases like diabetes, cancer and Aids etc.
If we neglect or don't take the full advantage of our natural environment, we might be the last generation to have those opportunities and these dread diseases will grow. Help in maintaining this attractive environment to keep attracting the African Penguins, international birds, fishes, beautiful insects, that breath out life to our life.
