Personal message
Swimming is my passion and in this way I am looking to help those less fortunate than myself through extreme swimming events. These swims are both to raise awareness and funds for children in need of a helping hand.
The 24 Hour Swim challenge is to raise funds for the "Lonelyroad" foundation, in conjunction with MadSwimmer. For more information on the charity visit www.thelonelyroad.org .
During the challenge of swimming for 24 Hours I will experience pain, fatigue, stress, discomfort, anger, hunger, cold and a range of other emotions and symptoms that I can not possibly prepare myself for. However all these things that I shall be facing shall be a drop in the ocean, as I will be outside my comfort zone for a day but these children live in these conditions everyday.
Thus I would like to ask you to join me on this journey in making a child's life more than just survival. Let's help our youth to live.
God Bless,
Tyron Venter.
