What an amazing way to celebrate the Youth Day weekend with the Oceans 8 Charity Swim, where I will be swimming 8 miles in the sea over two days in June. My swim is dedicated to raising funds for an organisation that aims to educate the youth of South Africa!

Singakwenza Early Childhood Education is an NPO that trains carers on how to create educational tools out of recycled materials to develop young children's minds. To learn more about this fantastic organisation, follow this link: https://www.singakwenza.co.za/.

I am so excited to be raising funds (and swimming 8 miles) for this incredible organisation! They are developing our children's minds and taking care of our environment by using recycled material. Both cause looking out for future generations and are very close to my heart.

Singakwenza exists to address the impact of poor access to quality Early Childhood Development on young children in economically disadvantaged communities. Singakwenza educates, empowers and supports practitioners, parents and caregivers to create a safe, loving and stimulating environment that will unlock their preschooler's ability to develop resilience, learn through play, and reach their full potential. This is done through a sustainable learning program that uses resources made solely from recycling.
