Personal message

My name is Lilion Muller, and I am currently battling breast cancer. Unfortunately, I have faced numerous challenges throughout my journey. Initially, my doctor at Evander Hospital diagnosed me with breast cancer in my left breast on November 14th. However, when I went back for further treatment, I discovered that my doctor had gone on leave without sending my results to Steve Biko Hospital. This left my case in limbo, and I had to plead with another doctor to help me. As a result of this delay, I now have a lump in my right breast as well.

I was then referred to Witbank Hospital, but when I arrived there, the doctor claimed to have no knowledge of my case. After returning to Evander Hospital, I was told to go back to Witbank Hospital on December 27th. I made the journey by taxi as we do not have our own transportation, and I had to spend the entire night at Evander Hospital, sitting on a chair, waiting for transport the next morning. This ordeal has taken a toll on my physical health, as I have lost 6 kg and currently weigh only 46 kg.

To make matters worse, my husband lost his job after informing his boss about my illness. His boss claimed that my chemotherapy and operation would interfere with my husband's working hours. As a result, my husband has been unemployed for nearly two months. We currently reside in a Wendy house in trihardam. Additionally, both my son and daughter have special needs, with my son having autism and my daughter having Asperger Syndrome. We have already sold all our belongings just to put food on the table.

Being in this situation is incredibly difficult, especially since I lost my mother to breast cancer when she was 33 years old. I understand firsthand how painful it is to grow up without a mother. My children need me, and it breaks my heart to explain to them that there know is no food or resources available. Therefore, I am humbly pleading with anyone who can spare any assistance to help me and my family. As a mother, I am desperate to provide for my two special needs children. Your support would mean the world to us.
Thank you for considering my request and for your kindness during this challenging time.

Warm regards,

2024/01/16 - UPDATE

We want to share an update on Lilion's courageous battle against breast cancer. She recently underwent a biopsy, and the samples have been sent to the laboratory. We're anxiously awaiting the results, as they will determine the next steps in her journey.

A small portion of her right breast has already been removed, and a biopsy was also performed on her left breast. It's a challenging time for Lilion and her loved ones, and we kindly ask for your prayers and support during this difficult journey.

If you'd like to contribute and help cover their medical expenses, you can click on the following link below:

Together, we can make Lilion's path a bit brighter. Thank you so much for your love and support during this time.

Additionally, Lilion shared that the cancer cells from her left breast have spread to the right breast. They had to remove a portion from her right breast to investigate if it was the same type of cancer. It's an unusual situation, but they say there could be different types of cancer in each breast. Let's surround Lilion with love and strength as she faces this unique challenge.
