My mother was diagnosed with Anti-synthesase syndrome in 2022. She is on oxygen 24hours per day. Loadshedding is making breathing difficult. Due to loadshedding there is a backlog in delivery of oxygen cilinders. She had to stay two weeks in hospital due to not having a backup oxygen cilinder. I would like to purchase a portable oxygen concentrator which can provide my mother with oxygen during loadshedding. The portable oxygen concentrator comes with a backup battery, which could last up to seven hours. This will be of great help to my mother during loadshedding. She will be able to handle the concentrator herself, unlike the cilinder which is difficult for her to handle. Please help me to help my mother breath. The funds will give me the opportunity to buy my morher a life saving portable oxygen concentrator.
