Leon Hougaard and 3 of his friends will cycle from Touws River, via Laingsburg to The Gamka Kloof Dam, and then via Seweweekspoort to Riversdale and from Riversdal back to Worcester via Swellendam, Worcester, Western Cape.

 The route is around 500km and they will do this without any support vehicles, camping at various campsites. They will carry all the food, tents, etc with them on the bicycles. 

They will leave on 20 September 2021 and the tour will take about 10 days to complete. They undertake such a tour annually and Leon uses it ( in his capacity ) to raise funds for Worcester World Evangelism. 

Worcester World Evangelism is a Christian Missionary Organization that supports 22 missionaries worldwide. Although we support them financially, it involves much more than just a few Rand per month. We support them through prayer and strive to be available to them on a spiritual and emotional level because missionary work in foreign countries is very demanding. 

The office of WWE is located in Worcester at the AFM New Life Congregation. However, it operates independently of the congregation in order to support missionaries from other church backgrounds as well. Our income is derived from donations for individuals and fundraising projects. Our office personnel are volunteers and all monies received we use to support the missionaries. WWE has a proper financial system, and our books are audited annually by external auditors.

We kindly request you to consider the fundraising project and support Leon Hougaard in his goal to raise R100000.00 for WWE. 

All funds raised will be paid directly to the relevant institution.
