Thank you for clicking on my link and reading about my mission to raise funds and awareness for children fighting cancer.
I'm going to run the comrades marathon (gulp) in memory of children who lost their lives to this disease and to try and assist those precious children who are still fighting for their lives.
I met a lovely lady during my running training who lost her only son to brain cancer. As we run each morning we share our lives and Bonni started to share her work and the details of the children she dealt with on a daily basis. I get to hear about her son almost daily and how much she misses him.
I would like to show my support for her and her determination to help children fighting cancer, by running my very first comrades for The Rainbows and Smiles Foundation.
We keep our trust in Jesus to cure this disease!

The mission of Rainbows and Smiles is to provide emotional, social and financial support to families and caregivers in need when a child or children of that family is diagnosed with a life threatening illness such as cancer. In addition, Rainbows and Smiles encourage childhood cancer awareness to educate in the hope of promoting early detection.
