Personal message

As I'm getting wiser with the years that pass, I realise that swimming for me is less about podium finishes and more about restoring my mental health which allows me moments of mental clarity! In these moments, I've come to understand that I no longer can simply watch tv programs about conservation and get teary eyed at the heart break of animal poaching.

I can actually contribute and make a difference, no matter how small. On the 16th & 17th of June I'll be swimming 8 miles over 2 days to raise funds and awareness. It will help save a life. Instead of just reading and scrolling on, please take a minute to donate to this very important cause - you will help save a life yourself :)  And that's good karma!
