Hi everyone,
After a devastating car accident, my daughter Kim was landed with a life on Oxygen as she has a "Contused" lung and multiple blood clots in her lung. She has a very basic Medical Aid and was in High Care for 8 days and then recovered further in hospital.
Life is difficult as S.A. is on permanent load shedding and she is on a hired, electrical oxygen machine at home and each time it is load shedding, day or night, the machine sends out an S.O.S. and someone has to assist to switch over to an oxygen cylinder unit.
This oxygen is very costly (usage plus minus R300 per day), and her medical aid is depleted. She has landed with a huge deficit in her finances, as some products and services like scans, specialized oxygen blood tests, and Pneumonia tests are extremely expensive.
She is a single mother. We would appreciate any help in obtaining her own, portable home Oxygen machine, (plus minus R42,000) solar, or inverter. Payment of excess medical costs and any further investigations in the future.
Payment towards loss of income and should she be so fortunate, towards replacement of the motor vehicle which was completely written off.
She has already paid some expenses from her own pocket and is unaware of when she will be returning to work. Also, what the future holds from a medical point of view.

Personal injury and suffering MVA Campaign

After my daughter Kim's severe car accident, she now relies on oxygen due to a contused lung and blood clots.
With basic medical aid, she spent 8 days in High Care and continues her recovery in a country facing constant power outages. Her hired electrical oxygen machine triggers an S.O.S. during load shedding, requiring manual switch to an oxygen cylinder. The daily cost is around R300, depleting her limited medical aid. Financial strain arises from expensive medical tests and services, leaving her with a substantial deficit.
As a single mother, she seeks assistance for a portable home oxygen machine (approx. R42,000), solar or inverter solutions, covering medical costs, potential loss of income, and replacing her totaled vehicle.
Any help is greatly appreciated as she faces uncertainty about returning to work and future medical challenges.
