Personal message

that time of year has come whereby, I will be getting on a bicycle and cycling just under 100kms for Rare disease patients in South Africa, but, also, for my precious boy Juan.
As you know, Juan has a rare condition, and his struggle in life to do simple things has always inspired me to do more for others. This event, is one such way, in which we can use our abilities to do simple things like ride a bike, to benefit those that can’t do even simpler things like walk or talk. 
This is a way for us to feel the aching muscles and burning lungs, which is what general living is like for many of our patients. 
It’s a chance to appreciate the ability to be active, and more importantly, to raise much needed funding for those who really need it.
