I will be taking part in the Discovery 947 Ride Joburg, riding to raise funds for HOPE worldwide South Africa; a faith-based charity working in disadvantaged communities in Early Childhood Development (ECD).

HOPE worldwide South Africa is serving vulnerable children, households and communities; focusing on young children aged 0-6 years, as this is the most critical period in a child’s development. What happens in early childhood will last a lifetime. HOPE invests in the future of these young children through ECD Centre (crèche) support, Community ECD Parenting programmes, Nutritional Support and through an ‘Adopt a Family’ programme.

To help fund their outreach, Team HOPE cyclists aim to raise R250,000 leading up to the Cycle Challenge event being held in November.
