Personal message

I have chosen to run for this charity as I met Bonita, who is the founder member and I have an instant connection to her son. I want to dedicate my running to her precious son, Jed who sadly died, after a brave fight with brain cancer at the age of 6 years 8 months. To honour this little man I will be running to raise funds and also create awareness.

The mission of Rainbows and Smiles is to provide emotional, social and financial support to families and caregivers in need when a child (or children) of that family is diagnosed with cancer. Rainbows and Smiles encourage childhood cancer advocacy and GOLD RIBBON AWARENESS to educate people, in the hope of promoting early detection. Their principles include creating hope, smiles and relief for families and caregivers of children with cancer.

Please will you support me as I take on the Wally Haywood Marathon on the 1st of May 2017.
