My name is Siyolise, from the Eastern Cape, Mtata and I come to you with a heartfelt plea on behalf of a dear friend, an anonymous sister in desperate need. She wishes to remain unnamed due to the sensitive nature of her situation. We'll refer to her as K, and she has been a companion since our high school days. However, life has taken an unexpected turn for her since 2019.
K is trapped in an abusive marriage, enduring constant mistreatment and unable to escape due to a lack of support. Her situation is dire, as she has to care for herself and her younger sister, a 20-year-old with a child. Their home has crumbled, leaving them with nowhere to go.
Despite facing depression and contemplating desperate measures, K continues to endure for the sake of her younger sister and her child. The abusive husband has even threatened the lives of her loved ones. K, who once had a job, lost it due to contractual issues, leaving her with no financial means to rebuild their shattered home.
Together, we can make a difference. Let us join hands to rebuild a house and hope for K and her siblings. Your contributions will enable her to break free from this cycle of abuse, providing a safe haven for her family and a chance to rebuild their lives.
We aim to raise R100,000 to help K build a 2-roomed house for herself and her siblings. This will provide them with shelter and a chance to rebuild their lives. Additionally, some funds will serve as a safety net for essentials while K searches for employment.
