It’s a privilege for me to run the Two Oceans Half Marathon for those that can’t!

Please help me make a difference in reaching my target of R5000 by 20th April by donating to the Cape Kidney Association to assist with:

 

  • Monthly food parcels for patients
  • Annual bursary fund for patients
  • Transport/travel costs to assist them to get to the hospital for their dialysis
  • Start-up costs for small business due to unemployment
  • Accommodation as many patients have to survive on disability grants
  • Wellness Days to create awareness about "caring for your kidneys"

Cape Kidney Association

The Cape Kidney Association was founded in 1978 by a group of Nephrology Doctors and Nurses who saw the need to assist the Indigent kidney patients. Patients travel from afar as there are no dialysis units close by. We serve majority patients in the Renal Unit at Groote Schuur and Tygerberg Hospitals. Most of the patients are unemployed and some of them receive disability grants.
