Jona Vaughan Home for intellectually disabled children and adults is in our neighbourhood Amanzimtoti and most people dont even know they drive past it regularly.

I noticed their pool was in serious need of attention and offered to get it back to swimming condition which I have successfully done with help from my hubby.

Having come into contact with the staff and Ressies at Jona Vaughan Home, I have been made aware of their under-funding issues and feel in my heart that I want to do more, one project at a time of course.

They have a gardener but no equipment although they borrow from neighbours from time to time.

I want to raise funds to purchase a heavy duty weed eater/edge trimmer for them so that their garden can be taken care of properly. If you feel it in your heart to donate to this worthy cause, I thank you.

I will post pics of the unit once I have raised enough funds to purchase it and pics of the garden once it starts looking better.
