Personal message
So this year I decided to ride for charity. Well my daughter's netball coach asked me.......! What could I say. Actually it's a great cause and I'm happy to support it.
If you have a few bob spare then please help us, we need to raise R1000.00.
So that is 10 friends x R100 or 100 friends x R10.
Don't know if I have 100 friends :) Thanks guys :)
About Pedalling 4 Pompe:
"We have decided to enter the 94.7 Cycle Challenge again this years to create awareness of Pompes disease and other rare illnesses - a cause very close to our hearts. This will be the second year at the race for us but it's still likely to be a challenge, our motivation is little Juan du Plessis and other Pompe disease sufferers who don't have the option of quitting their illness when it becomesunbearable.
In 2012 we were with 5th highest fund raising last year with roughly 125 riders and are hoping to double the number of participants as well as the donations raised! Please only consider entering if you are medically fit to ride - we don't want any injuries or life threatening incidents en route and there are plenty of other ways to support the cause if you're unable to cycle. Moral support, race day cheerleaders, kit sponsors, loaning of bikes or equipment if you have extra and getting the word out about our cause are other ways to help and would be greatly appreciated
