On the 30th of November I will take part in the UTCT 65km ultra-marathon on and around Table Mountain.

As part of this challenge I would like to give back to the community that has given so much to me, by looking after our trails and sharing the joy of running by supporting runners in disadvantaged communities. All contributions on this platform (big or small) will go towards the UTCT Trail Fund, which is an ongoing legacy project encouraging pariticipants to raise funds to two UTCT causes:

Environmental Fund:

The proceeds will go to Table Mountain National Park's Honorary Rangers to assist with various programs that sustain the National Park e.g. clearing alien vegetation, trail rehabilitation, arranging cleanups and other environmental programmes.

Development Runners’ Fund:

UTCT will contribute financially to developing trail running for disadvantaged communities and fostering the next group of elite runners.  Being part of the Ultra-Trail World Tour, UTCT has the platform to expose talent from our shores to the best trail runners and events in the world.
