I recently completed my trip from London to Paris. The 4 days went by so quickly, and the trip was a great success. Thank you again, to all who have donated so kindly towards my cause. Your help is really appreciated.

 

In July I will be cycling from London to Paris in aid of a charity in KZN, South Africa called Gozololo. Gozololo is an independant charity who does not recieve funding from any government grants, so the funds I hope to raise for them will be used for a really good cause.

The trip will take place over 4 days, and cover 480kms. This equates to about 6-7 hours in the saddle a day. Ouch! I start the event from SE London on July 1st and head through Kent county toward Dover, where I catch a ferry accross to France. Day 2 starts in Calais and heads south through rural lanscapes and quiet country roads toward Abbeville. Leaving Abbeville behind me, on day 3, I follow the River Somme east out of the town in the direction of Amiens and onto Beauvais, where I have a final nights rest before my final leg to Paris. The last day takes me through wooded countryside toward Paris, where I ride through the Arc de Triumph, and on to the finish line under the Eiffell Tower.

All donations -large or small - will be appreciated by myself as well as Gozololo. Please note that a small portion of donations recieved will be used to cover costs for the events organising company ( support vehicles, staff etc )
