Personal message

Never thought I'd be doing this but...

Hello everyone, My name is Angelique. Ang for short.  I am a single mom of an 18-year-old daughter.  She happy and healthy but my other little joy, my baby, my furbaby..Jerry has become ill with a bladder infection or some sort.  We visited the vet yesterday 29/11/23.  Got some antibiotics.

Its the 30th and he still can't urinate. I need to take him in for blood tests and x-rays to determine the diagnosis and then once ive received results I'll need to provide him with the necessary meds and care. He has had kidney stones before and the vet said it will get worse each time he gets them.

He is 10 years old, and I wouldn't be able to handle ever losing him. I just can't. I can't let him suffer either. I want to get him sorted and bring him home and carry on with a normal daily life. Walkies and playtime. I can't stop crying. He's my life, and I need him to be healthy again.

Our walkie-talkies need to carry on. He's always with me. Always waits for walkie-talkie at 4:30 pm every afternoon. We go sleep at the same time. I think that he thinks he is human, and he always listens to me talk. He comforted me in times of need. He not just a cat. He is my whole life.

The vet estimated that bloods and xrays will come to around R2800 and then I will need to get medication and whatever is needed for him.
Thank you for reading my story. It may seem not so serious but his little life is everything to me and my daughter.

Yours sincerely, Ang

Hi everyone, I'm Angelique, a single mom to an 18-year-old daughter.

My furbaby Jerry, who's been my joy, is currently suffering from a severe bladder infection. We visited the vet and got antibiotics, but he still can't urinate. I need funds for blood tests, x-rays, and medication. Jerry's 10 years old, and I can't bear the thought of losing him.

He's not just a cat; he's my whole life. Any help would mean the world to us. Thank you for reading and understanding.

Sincerely, Ang.
