The 'Lions and the Lamberts' are one of many groups & individuals running/walking a collective 100km in 10 days from the 21st-30th March 2023. Each of us has an individual goal of 25 km which we will complete over that time.
We are doing this to raise funds for Trulife to run workshops about GBV (gender based violence) in schools throughout South Africa. These workshops provide an intentional and effective intervention into learners' lives in order to bring change and hope.

Jessica Schwikkard (the running machine) - 33.11 km completed of 25km (goal achieved!!!)
Michael James (the runner by the sea) - 22.29 km completed of 25km
Brett Lambert (the fast one) - 24.82 km completed of 25km (180 metres to go:)
Jenny Lambert (the persevering one) - 25.09 km completed of 25km (goal achieved - whew:)

Trulife comes alongside the next generation to educate, inspire and equip them to make brave choices that will ultimately lead to better futures. Through the presentation of creative onstage productions, interactive workshops and digital curriculum life skills topics are addressed in a way that is relevant and applicable. We believe that knowledge is power and that passionate, well informed and motivated young people are the key to unlocking the best future for our world.
