Hi Guys! I'm venturing into the deep blue to raise funds for charities who do absolutely vital work in our community. Oceans 8 Charity Swim is an incredible initiative where 100% of all the funds raised will go directly towards aiding the work of these hardworking organisations. The charities involved have recognised the need to intervene, many on our behalf, both for the environment as well as beautiful children and people in our nation who are in need.

The Oceans 8 Charity Swim is South Africa's first warm water ocean swim of its kind, exclusively for charity.
It has been started by 5 charities (DUCT, NSRI, Project Rhino, Singakwenza and WILDTRUST) to provide a reliable and sustainable flow of funding to deserving non-profits with a footprint in KwaZulu-Natal, to support their work and allow them to continue to engage in and deliver on projects which have an impact and influence on education, environment, community development and upliftment for those most in need.
The inaugural Oceans 8 Charity Swim will be held on the 16th & 17th (18th) June 2023 at the Durban Undersea Club, with the 5 founding charities benefitting from the 8 Mile swimmers, and 9 invitational charities benefitting from the 1 Mile swimmers.
