My name is Ruzanne and I am creating this page for a dog of friends who was involved in an armed robbery in Uitenhage.
A case was opened on Friday night 1 December 2023, after it all went down. His owners gave their statements at the police station. Unfortunately none of the robbers have been arrested.

Here is Jay's story...

Jay is a boerboel of 1 year and 11 months got shot on Friday 1 December 2023, during a home invasion. 5 guys with guns came in and robbed his family. Unfortunately they shot him. He needs an operation to repair his broken leg and to get the bullet out that hit him.

He was shot in the face, only a flesh wound, but it went through to his leg and from the impact of the shot his leg broke.

He needs an operation to attach the bones and remove the bullet. The operation will cost R10 000.

He is currently at the vet and stable.

On Wednesday 20 December 2023, another bullet was removed from Jay's cheek.
This boy wasn't shot once but twice. And he survived.

Please help save this precious boy as his owners are devastated.
