Personal message
We believe the most important part of growing up is to have opportunities to learn every step of the way. Our goal is to help the children of the Village Safe Haven learn important life lessons that will help them grow into mature and successful adults.
We would like to raise R100 for each km we cycle in the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge. This money will go towards the school fees of one child for the full year of 2014. Learning and growing... step by step.

The Village Safe Haven

The Village Safe Haven is a Group Foster Care Facility that also acts as a Place of Safety. We are referred to by law as an Alternative Child Care Centre and to date, we are in our 16th year of operation.
We believe that every child in need is worthy of quality care. We, therefore, do not show preference to any situation. However, we do not cater for children with serious physical disabilities as we do not have the facilities or staff for this. We have created three homes on the property to include a family structure and have totally moved away from the “institution style” in which children’s homes or “orphanages” were known for.
We offer an encompassed lifestyle of love and quality care to our children and we trust that in turn when our children leave our care as young adults, they leave as “young adults of excellence”.
Without financial and food donations of the greater community and company CSI budgets that support us, our home is simply not able to function. When we receive extras, such as clothes we cannot use, we share with those in need through other NPOs that we work very closely with. We thank you in advance for supporting The Village Safe Haven.
