Personal message

I'm Jamie from Joburg's very own Southern Country Rock band Jasper Dan. Since the day I met the ladies from Rainbows and Smiles I've admired the love and compassion they show for these young kids and their families. True heroes that need all the admiration and support that anyone can give. I've recently made a life decision to concentrate more on my own health and fitness encouraged by my family. I last swam the Midmar Mile 30 years ago and have done no length swimming in 27 years. 

My personal goal to swim the Midmar again is driven by the kids of Rainbows and Smiles. 

Lastly, this is also a challenge to all in the SA Music scene to hit the water and swim for a good cause. If we're all down there we may as well put on a little show too...
