Hello everyone,

In August 2023, my dad received the life-altering diagnosis of Sigmoid Colon Cancer. This forced him to immediately stop working, leading to a financial strain compounded by surgery, ongoing chemotherapy, and certain medical fees not covered by his insurance. As the sole provider for his three daughters and household, the burden has become overwhelming.

With months of chemotherapy and impending radiation ahead, coupled with costly scans and numerous medical appointments, the financial challenges are immense. Despite the medical aid, the projected year-long treatment has prompted the realization that additional financial support is crucial.

My dad is also exploring holistic approaches, including breathwork, juicing, diet, and CBD oil. While his oncologist is optimistic about a cure, the financial toll is significant. Due to the intensive treatment, he will be unable to work for the foreseeable future as a contract worker, leaving him without income for bills like life insurance, child support, fuel, and food.
