Subject: Support Needed for my Dad's Cancer Campaign

Hi everyone,

In August 2023, my dad was diagnosed with Sigmoid Colon Cancer, compelling him to cease work immediately due to surgery and ongoing chemotherapy and left him without an income. As the provider for his three daughters and his house hold, the financial strain has become overwhelming, exacerbated by some medical fees not covered by his medical aid.

With months of chemotherapy ahead and impending radiation, along with costly scans like CT scans, colonoscopies, extensive bloodwork and doctors visits, the financial burden is immense.

My dad is also using all holistic techniques he can find (breathwork, juicing, diet and CBD oil etc.) Once a month he has an appointment with his Oncologist.  The Oncologist is also positive that cure is possible and we are striving for it as our goal.  He has estimated that this treatment will go on for about a year.  He walked us through the medical costs and pointed out that medical aid might not be enough to cover all the treatment we are in for. 

Due to the chemotherapy, he will be man-down for most of the time and therefore unable to earn an income for the next few months to a year due to my Dad being a contract worker.  Unfortunately it's no work and no salary.  On top of that he have to pay his bills like life insurance, child support, fuel, food etc.

This is not in my or my families nature, but in desperate times you need to lean on your support network for help.  We are asking those who can to contribute whatever is possible to help alleviate the finacial strain during this difficult journey.
