Celebrating Cape Town’s youth one km at a time

This year I will be running a total of 508km over 8 marathons across South Africa to raise funds towards the expansion of Salesian Life Choices coding course.

After a successful pilot, Life Choices plans to expand this project to reach 120 youth in 2018, equipping them with 21st Century skills in coding. This 12-month course, comprising of 6 months intensive training and 6 months paid internship with industry leaders, aims to give youth the opportunity of a lifelong career in this sought after skill.

I will be running in these marathons in 2018 to raise much needed funds for this project:

  • 10th June - Comrades - 90km - COMPLETED
  • 27th - 28th July - Washie 100 Miller - 160km - COMPLETED
  • 23rd September - Cape Town Marathon - 42km - COMPLETED
  • 27th October - Run for cancer ultra marathon - 48km - COMPLETED
  • 3rd November - kaapsehoop marathon - 42km - COMPLETED
  • 4th November - Soweto Marathon - 42km - COMPLETED
  • 10th November - Winelands Marathon - 42km - COMPLETED
  • 24th November - Sani stagger - 42km

My Goal is to raise R100 for every km I run, so help me make this a reality and give youth the opportunity of a life time by supporting me, Salesian Life Choices and most importantly the youth of South Africa.
