Support Joan in her quest to complete the extreme Eden to Addo Great Corridor Hike consisting of 400km and in so doing raise awareness around the Eden to Addo Corridor Initiative.

The money raised will be used to further the objectives of Eden to Addo ( www.edentoaddo.co.za ) one of which is to promote environmental education.

To this end we will showcase the educational theatre piece “ The Great Eden to Addo Adventure”, created especially for Eden to Addo by Lunchbox Theatre for school children within the Eden to Addo Corridor area.

Lunchbox Theatre:

Lunchbox Theatre is a diverse, dynamic and creative team working together to achieve our vision of having theatre projects as primary awareness raising tools for important issues that are relevant to South Africa’s youth.

 

With our “The Great Eden to Addo Adventure” show, we assist in educating primary school children, in predominantly underprivileged communities, about biodiversity and the importance of natural corridors, highlighting the need for humans, plants and animals to live in harmony.

 

The show is set along the Eden to Addo hike route and draws attention to the wonderful animals and plants in the area while exploring solutions for the challenges that they experience.

 

Through this project we instil a positive change of attitudes and behaviour towards the environment, society and self through an interactive, educational and developmental theatre experience.

 

Your support will help us reach our goal of educating our country’s children about our environment and its importance and thereby securing a brighter future for our planet and her people.
