My name is Sibongile Mayisa, and I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for your support in achieving my educational aspirations.

I am a diligent and resilient individual who is passionate about conservation biology and sustainability. I studied Biological Sciences in order to get accepted into the Geographic Information System & Remote Sensing (GIS & RS) program. One of the aspects that drew me to GIS is its wide-ranging applications across various industries. I am particularly interested in leveraging GIS for environmental conservation and urban planning. I believe that by harnessing the power of geographic information systems, we can address complex spatial challenges and contribute to sustainable development.

I recently finished my Biological Sciences degree (Animal, Plant, and Environmental Sciences) at Wits University. I have been accepted into the BSc Honours Geographic Information System and Remote Sensing program for the 2024 academic year. However, I cannot enroll in the program since I have outstanding fees from the last year of my undergraduate degree. Despite my best efforts to secure financial aid, there is still a funding gap that I am currently facing. Thus, it is important to me to raise the required funds so that I can get cleared for registration.

I appreciate your consideration of my situation, and your support can have a significant impact on my education and future. Any contribution, no matter the size, will bring me one step closer to my educational aspirations and will grant me an opportunity to make a positive contribution to society. The funds raised will go directly towards covering the outstanding balance on my student account.
