Personal message

I’ve been road running for the past few years now and just recently ventured into trail running. Subsequent to my immediate love for the trails, I decided to enter the 35km UTCT trail experience. Trail running is a novel and exciting experience as it has allowed me to re-discover the outdoors and appreciate the raw and unmarred natural beauty in our city and also challenges me beyond known physical boundaries.

While making many memories through my love for running and by tackling this trail adventure, I would also like to make a small impact on those unable to share the same experiences by contributing towards a charity. I have chosen the Red Cross Children’s Hospital as my beneficiary – a hospital literally on my doorstep doing outstanding work in assisting children with medical care.

Completing the race knowing there will be children benefiting, will indeed make the experience and adventure all the more meaningful to me. I hope that it will inspire others to appreciate what they have and use it positively to benefit themselves and their communities at large.
