Personal message

I am Elise Steynberg. I am 38 years old. I live in Graaff-Reinet in the Eastern Cape. I started running/walking after my 2nd child's birth to loose some weight and somehow I got hooked!

My dream was to run Comrades one day and that dream came true. I decided to dedicate this years Comrades to making other peoples dreams come true. I was looking for a cause to run for and came upon "Rainbows and Smiles" on Facebook.

Having children of my own and being faced with the reality of cancer every day, I decided that this was the one!!! 

To bring a smile on someone's face, especially children, makes me happy and making a difference in their lives will give me great pleasure. 

I will be honoured to run in aid of "Rainbows and Smiles" and hopefully finish my 2nd Comrades and dedicate it to all the beautiful children out there suffering from Cancer.
