Who Is Delmari?
She is the daughter of Marius and Adel. Delmari has cerebral palsy; she is reliant on an electric wheelchair for mobility and the freedom that comes with such a tool. Without it, she depends on her mother for mobility.
You may ask, but what about Marius and Adel? Marius is blind and has been so since a very young age due to illness. Adel is, therefore, the primary caregiver for the two.
Marius was retrenched during Covid, and his health has deteriorated due to many factors. As a family, they are reliant on a SASSA income, and as you could imagine, two new batteries for the electric wheelchair are impossible to purchase or even save for on SASSA income alone.
Therefore, I ask you to donate whatever amount you can. Let's get to R5000 - rand so the two batteries can be purchased and delivered to them. This will be a glorious day for Delmari and will be one less thing a mother and father have to worry about.
Delmari has such love for her parents that she puts no pressure on them; therefore, let us help relieve that pressure as well.
