Hi, I'm Rosalind. I am a teacher and trauma counselor. More importantly, I am a single mother of two amazing boys.
My eldest son, Dalton, has always been interested in football. As a toddler, he started learning football skills at Little Kickers. He then did some coaching with Soccer Stars, and at the age of 5 he started playing club football for Benoni Northerns, League 1.
At the age of 6 he moved over and started playng club soccer at Old Benonians and he played for them up to 2023. During this time he also received coaching at Supersports United Schools in Benoni.
This year Dalton will be playing in the Regional League at the Geman International Soccer Academy. He has alsoplayed in his various school teams from grade 1 and will play in his current school's team this year.
In April 2022, Dalton's dad passed away suddenly in a tragic car accident. This has obviously been a devastating experience for Dalton, losing his dad, who was one of his greatest supporters and a solid role-model in his life.
It has also meant that I have lost financial support and I am now in a situation where I need to appeal for help to allow Dalton to achieve a dream and go to Sweden this year.
He and I would most greatly appreciate any support that comes in for him.
