Personal message

The Oceans 8 Charity Swim is an 8 mile sea swim in Durban, South Africa that has been started to provide a reliable and sustainable flow of funding to deserving non-profits with a footprint in KwaZulu-Natal. The swim will be split over 2 days starting on the 17th of June 2022.

I am passionate about making a difference for the young children of South Africa, our future leaders!

I have therefore joined forces with Singakwenza to help raise funds for their programmes which focus on early childhood development (ECD).

Targeted at children under five years of age, ECD is the most effective way of ensuring that children pass through the foundation phase successfully, with the necessary skills and knowledge required for subject work and more advanced content. 

Stimulation during these years determines the potential for holistic development and helps children develop skills to declare Singakwenza. We can do it!

This is done through a sustainable learning program that uses resources made solely from recycling.
