On Easter Friday, I came across a post on Facebook of a Children’s Home needing funds for food and supplies for 122 children during this Covid-19 lockdown in South-Africa.

Then and there, I decided that for my 30th birthday, instead of asking for materialistic gifts that I have no need for, I rather want to try raise money for these children.

I know these are extremely uncertain times for all of us, there is especially a financial uncertainty around this lockdown and epidemic, but my heart couldn’t handle the fact that I am with family during this lockdown, I have money and food, but these children have to go without all of the above.

To my friends, family and strangers who want to contribute, if you feel you want to help, any donation will be appreciated! 100% of the donations go to Die Herberg Children’s Home in Robertson.
