A local supplier has been kind enough to offer good rates for the rental of a generator as we don’t have our own at the East London SPCA. However, load shedding is here to stay for a while, it seems..
PLEASE help us raise funds to cover the bill for the rental of the generator – R 13,574 !
The humidity and February heat in East London is tough on our animals and we need a constant power supply for our in-house clinic equipment, powertools used in the kennels and even Internet connection, so that staff can stay connected to suppliers and public queries, and tend to our animals who can suffer heat stroke just as humans do...
