Hi, I am Corlia. 

My 18yr old daughter Sané completed high school last year and has an absolute passion for farming and animals. Her lifelong dream has been to work on a farm, be outdoors and is at her happiest when she is in the fields amongst the animals. She was fortunate enough to follow her passion and started work on a farm shortly after completing her end of year exams, and has thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

Unfortunately on the 25th of January 2024 she had a devastating accident. Her arm got caught in a mixing machine which severed her right hand and forearm. Sadly, the doctors were unable to salvage any of the severed limb. 

This devastating accident is enough to get anyone down. But, despite this tragedy, she has a positive attitude and a strong will to overcome this challenge. In the emergency room she told us: ‘It’s only an arm, I’m still alive to speak to you and this will not get me down’. 

We are incredibly proud of her resilience and courageous outlook on this situation and life as a whole. 

However, we know that she needs a prosthetic arm to help her be independent and able to return to the farm to do what she loves. We want her to feel confident as every beautiful young woman should. That’s why we are asking for your help to achieve Sanés dreams and improve her quality of life.
