Cole Cooper is my son who is turning 11 this year. He has been selected by his soccer club Tramway FC to represent the under 12 team at the Gothia Youth World Cup in Sweden in July 2024. The Gothia Cup attracts approximately 1700 teams from 89 countries around the world. This is also a meeting place for the worlds youth irrespective of religion, skin color or nationality with soccer as the common denominator.
This is a unique opportunity for him to participate on the global stage and compete against some of the best football players in the world, as well as meet, interact and make lifelong connections with likeminded kids from around the world.
The funds needed are towards flights costs, to get Cole to Sweden and the participation and the accommodation costs. We have raised a third of the total costs and need assistance with the rest so that Coles dream of traveling to Sweden and participating in the Gothia Cup will come true. These costs don’t include any spending money and kit costs.
