Personal message

My daughter (15) and I have decided to join the Mount Kilimanjaro expedition in July 2019 to fulfill our desire to accomplish an extreme personal challenge. And while we are at it, raise funds to fight for cruelty against gorgeous animals in Africa through Sandton SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)......My personal goal is $2000, any additional donation to this worthwhile cause will be much appreciated (reflected in South African Rands on the website: $1 = ~R15)!

The Sandton SPCA prevents cruelty, alleviates the suffering of animals and promotes kindness as set out in the Five Freedoms.
  1. Freedom from hunger and thirst
  2. Freedom from pain, injury and disease
  3. Freedom from distress
  4. Freedom from discomfort
  5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being
Animal abuse and neglect is something that can only be countered through education, pet care training and youth enrichment at a grass roots level.  Our Inspectorate and Education team work tirelessly to promote positive attitudes such as compassion, empathy and respect for all life through education and outreach programmes.
