A team of three - Clare Louise Thomas (freelance photographer), Tudor Caradoc-Davies (writer) and Jenna Viney (chef) - are rallying for twelve days across the island of Sri Lanka in.... a tuk tuk (read: auto rickshaw) as a part of The Lanka Challenge.
Our team - The Third Wheel - has chosen to partner with The Smile Foundation in creating awareness and raising funds to continue the AMAZING work that this organisation does in change the lives of children with facial anomalies in South Africa.
The Lanka Challenge is a combination of timed legs and challenges over twelve days across the island of Sri Lanka, with 30 teams, and covering a distance of 1100kms. The winning team is determined by the total accumulated Challenge time minus the total time deductions resulting from challenges successfully completed…
The challenge also partners with the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society and Land Owners Restore Rainforests in Sri Lanka (LORRIS) raising funds through the rally entry fees as paid by each team.
