After having been diagnosed in 2010 at the age of 18 with Stage 4 Endometriosis, I underwent 3 major surgeries to remove large cysts on both my ovaries within 1 month. We were informed that I had almost zero chance of getting pregnant. My lifelong dream of being a mother was shattered. This sad news broke my heart at that young age.
My husband and I got married in 2014. We tried to get pregnant, but without success. 18 Months later, my Gyn ecologist prescribed Clomid, also without success. The monthly painful disappointment was too much to bear, and after 6 months we decided to take things easy. We still believed that God was going to provide us with babies.
In January 2020 we got a call from a social worker, there was a baby girl available for adoption, we prayed about the matter and decided to adopt her. We did all the paperwork, went to see psychologists etc. to prepare us for everything.
A week later I underwent more surgery to remove even larger cysts than before. The prognosis had deteriorated so much that the surgeon seriously considered a full hysterectomy.
Due to the damage to my ovaries, we had a 5% chance using my own unhealthy ovum, and an 80% chance if we used those of a donor. Although it would be even more expensive, we decided to go the donor route. We prayed and got the perfect donor through an agency. We followed the process and managed to freeze 6 embryos. Unfortunately this was very costly, so we needed to obtain loans to proceed.
We realized this was an attack from the devil, but we decided to persevere. Our God is much Mightier. We wanted to do another implant in January 2021, but my mom got diagnosed with COVID and almost died – everything was against us doing it at that time.
We are saving to do another implant end 2024, however I spent another few days in hospital and was subsequently informed to speed up the planning to January/February 2024. This would be better and safer for me.
We were advised to do GoFundMe to obtain funds for repeating the process. We believe with all our hearts that Mia is a miracle from God, and that we need to share our testimony for all to be blessed.
It is our belief that Mia needs an additional miracle in the form of a little brother or sister. We don’t want Mia to grow up alone. If anyone would be willing to contribute small or large we would really appreciate it. We are willing to donate any excess funds to help fund another couple with similar circumstances.

My Endometriosis Miracle Campaign

Diagnosed with severe Endometriosis at 18, I faced surgeries and infertility. After a rollercoaster of failed adoption and health challenges, we were blessed with Mia through IVF. Seeking funds for another attempt in early 2024, we hope to give Mia a sibling. Your support means the world to us and could be a miracle for our family. Thank you for considering helping us on this journey.
