Hi, my name is Marie Boucher. We are facing a challenge as my oldest daughter requires braces, and without medical aid, we are relying on state assistance. Last year, it was confirmed that she needs braces, and we were referred to a hospital in Pretoria. Despite being a clean and beautiful hospital, relying on state resources placed us on an extensive waiting list of about 7-10 years.

This year, my daughter turns 15, and her confidence is significantly affected by her misaligned teeth. Her shyness prevents her from smiling or talking to others, fearing potential ridicule. Unfortunately, kids can be unkind, and she experiences teasing. Despite excelling in school and aspiring to study law, her self-esteem is suffering.

We are reaching out for help to give her the opportunity to regain her confidence and put a smile back on her face. Any assistance would be immensely appreciated.
