I'm Lianté van Eeden, a 19-year-old first-year engineering student at the University of the Free State. A motorcycle accident in September 2023 left me with severe injuries, including a dislocated hip and shattered ankle. Despite saving my leg, I may never fully recover, and medical bills are piling up as my insurance doesn't cover everything.
